About Me

Dear Family, Friends and Supporters:

I am embarking on a journey on which I could use your help, support and prayers. For 16 years I served the residents of Will County as a Board Member. In that role I had the opportunity to shape policy, help communities and support initiatives that improved the lives and well-being of our residents.

After five years of spending time with my family and enjoying my grandkids, current events reminded me that our work in protecting the rights of our citizens and keeping in check the needless spending and taxation of our government, does not allow apathy. You should not complain if you won’t do something to enact change.

Speak out, write letters, support and campaign for people you feel should be in office, do public service – VOTE! I choose to do all these and run for public office.

It is why I have submitted over 1300 signatures to be a candidate for the Office of Chief Executive Officer of Will County. As the Will County Executive I will be working tirelessly to carry out the policy for responsible and fair government and oversee the County budget with a fiscally conservative eye.

Accomplishments

Major Accomplishments

  • Worked with Com Ed to improve efficiencies in local services as Will County was the fastest growing County in the country. Through this work a VP position was created by Com Ed to oversee this initiative.
  • Stopped all building in Will County until a complete study could be done. The White Study was the beginning of the process that eventually led to the building of the new Sheriffs facility and County Courthouse.
  • Brought all elected county officials and key stake holders together to develop the Mission, Vision and Values statements being used today. This was not only a bi-partisan effort, it also input from other county wide elected officials to help craft statements for the peoples representatives.
  • Stopped the creation of a new taxing body that would have created a non-elected board with the power to tax the Citizens of Will County.
